Hurricane season began June 1st and ends November 30th. Start preparing now. Create an evacuation plan for you and your family. Pack a disaster supply kit in case you have to evacuate and stock up on the necessities if you choose to stay home. Plan your evacuation routes and update emergency contact numbers. Make arrangements with family and friends rather than staying in a shelter. Remember to make plans for your pets too. "Failing to prepare, is preparing to fail."
