Sept. 27-The 15th Annual National Public Lands Day. Krotz Springs. Indian Bayou Parking Area, 667 W. Atchafalaya Levee Rd., approx. 11 miles South of town on LA 105. Local volunteers are given the opportunity to help maintain trails & place bird houses along scenic Indian Bayou in support of the very lands they use to recreate. 7AM-3PM. (337) 585-0853.
