The Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness is responsible for establishing and maintaining preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery actions for St. Landry Parish in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. This task is accomplished through the development of a parish-wide emergency operations plan, providing public education and coordinating with other agencies to provide training, resources and response to emergencies.
