WAR DEAD MEMORIAL SHAPES UP
September 26, 2005 - Park-like in scope, the St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial has, at last, an initial design from which work can begin on the fund raising needed to build it.
"Everything is for sale, from walkway bricks to benches to landscaping," said Pat Mason-Guillory, memorial committee chairman.
The estimated cost of the project is $250,000.
