St. Landry Airport Gets New Gas Pumps
July 10, 2006

After having no access to fuel for a year at the St. Landry Parish Airport, pilots can now gas up 24 hours a day.

Airport administrator Travis Hellum says both 12,000-gallon fuel tanks are in service. Hellum says this service will increase the number of pilots using the airport.

The parish-run fuel service is replacing a privately-owned fuel service that left the airport about a year ago.
