The Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness is responsible for establishing and maintaining preparedness for St. Landry Parish in the event of a disaster or large scale emergency. This task is accomplished through the development of a parish-wide emergency operations plan, providing public education and coordinating with other agencies to provide training, resources and response to emergencies.
